2nd Sports Injury Prevention Symposium
The ReFORM community is proud to present its second Symposium about “Injury Prevention in Sport” in Luxembourg on October 14th and 15th 2022. The event will be held in close partnership with the Luxembourgish sports medicine community and the Amsterdam collaboration on Health and Safety in Sports.
During these 2 days, delegates will be provided with the latest knowledge in the emerging field of sports injury prevention by some of the world’s most recognized researchers on the subject. Indeed, the sports injury prevention days follow the IOC Research Centers meeting which will be held in Luxembourg on the days before. The IOC sports medicine community will share their expertise with some prominent speakers of the ReFORM network and will be joined by some additional international experts.
On the first day, a series of practical workshops and lectures will be held at the brand-new biomechanical centre “SportFabrik” managed by the Luxembourg Institute for High Performance in Sports (LIHPS) in Differdange, in the south-western part of Luxembourg, at about 25 km from Luxembourg-City. Transportation will be provided from hotels in Luxembourg City and back after the meeting.
On the second day, delegates will meet in Luxembourg’s largest sports arena, the Luxembourg National Sports and Cultural Centre “d’Coque” at the Kirchberg Plateau in Luxembourg City. It has a wonderful architecture and is located at a short distance from Luxembourg’s International Airport and train station.
The target audience is composed of doctors, students and other professionals involved in the protection of athletes’ health.

Please note: Registration for the conference on Saturday is a prerequisite for signing up for the workshops on Friday.
